Hey Simmers!

So with the latest April update my game decided to crash – I think it’s due to my own silliness – and I lost all my files. Boohoo… Anyways, after a day’s worth of crying(?) I deleted everything on my Instagram – cause I had a really cool story going on – and I started a new, totally unique story. I have been devoting quite a bit of time on that to get it perfect, so I haven’t been playing with creating new content – sorry!

However, I do have a HUGE Mother’s Day pack in progress that I would love to share with you all, but I’ll do that on the 14th of May! Stay Tuned. Anyways until then..

What do you think of the new site? I am absolutely in love with how it came out! I feel so much better about the site and contents now and I can’t wait to hear your comments on it – so tell me, what do you think?

With the new site, there is a new trait as well – Breezy Sims are lively and full of energy! They are often the happiest Sims in the room and people always comment on how full of spirit they are. Breezy Sims are the best people to accompany you to a teambuilding exercise or rally as they always have a smile on their face.

Guys, I don’t know how many of you are on the forums, but if you are – check out NelcaRed and her ridiculous thread called My Digital Art Drawings.

I have made a collection of paintings from her art – and I have to say that they are just as amazing in the game as on the forums! Gosh, girl. You are talented!!

Technically not all cats, as a hyena is more of a dog lol… But I had to name it something and I did this quite late at night, so.

Behold, the new era of mellycreates has just begun!! Oh my, I am so excited to share even more content with you all. I can’t wait to finally master blender so I can bring you new meshes that will truly amaze.

So this collection was inspired by a sensual, classy bachelorette pad or even a bachelor pad.

Story:Long Lost And Happily Ever After – 1.2

Follow from the beginning.

“Marianne, you’re back!” Her cousin hugged her. “When did you get back?”

“Yesterday, I met Evelyn in the park so I stayed the night at her place.” Marianne explained herself, before she could be bombarded by “why didn’t you stay with me?”.

“Why didn’t you invite me over for a sleepover? We could have had a girls’ night. Now I have to hear everything second hand.” She sighed. “I am surprised your mother let you out of the house.”

“I didn’t go back.” Marianne said. “I went to stay in the city for a week.  I am going to buy an apartment in the city.”

“Whoa, wait. You didn’t go back? So why did you leave then?” Kristin asked confused.

“I did go back. I was in front of the house when I realised I couldn’t do it, so I drove and suddenly found myself on the doorstep of a friend’s 17th floor apartment in the city. So I knocked and ended up staying there for a week. We went house hunting and I found Evelyn’s son. We had dinner with her son and ex-husband.”

“Whoa, what the hell, Marianne. Why am I the last to know?” Kirstin sighed. “Wait, does Evelyn know?”

“She does,”

“Well, it’s probably better that she heard it from you first.”

“Oh, Kristin. I am sorry that I didn’t tell you I was back before this morning.”

“You’re not really back though, are you? Well, I have something to tell you…”

Hi Simmers!

What do you think of the new layout?

I will be updating everything on the blog with the new layout in the next couple of days – and guess what, it’ll be colour coded! So Traits will be a pinkish red, Stories will be yellow, Edits will be green, etc. Whoop whoop! I’ll also tag the posts by colour as well placing them in the appropriate category.

Freethinking Sims make great political Sims or activists, and personally I love my (pictured above) Sim Elizabeth Henry. She is a great politician and she’s campaigning for her cause No Sim Left Behind.

Story:Long Lost And Happily Ever After 1.1

“You’re back?” Marianne heard a voice behind her.

She turned around to see her best friend walking by.

“Evelyn,” The brunette smiled. “How are you? Aren’t you cold?” She remarked when she touched the blonde’s icy arm.

“A bit, I decided to walk home from work and I managed to lose my purse and cardigan on the way. I’ve been retracing my steps the whole afternoon but I haven’t found it yet.”

“Oh, no.” Marianne felt sorry for her friend. “I wish I had my jacket with me.”

“That’s okay. I am about to give up anyways. I need to pee.” Marianne laughed.

“How is Evie?” Marianne asked as they walked to her car to go home.

“She’s fine, loud as always.” Evelyn laughed. “Why didn’t you tell me you’re back?”

“I only just arrived, I’ve been wondering where I should stay.”

“Really?” Evelyn rolled her eyes. “You are seriously telling me I was not your first thought?”

“Evelyn, I haven’t been quite honest with you.” Marianne sighed. “I didn’t go back home.”

“Where did you go?”

“I stayed in the city with a friend.” Marianne was apparently nervous. “I met Joshua.”

They stopped and before Evelyn could respond she felt herself overcome with nausea. She waved at Marianne and ducked in behind a bush.
